UI Developer (Web UI & Chrome Extension Specialist)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a UI Developer at Acclivity, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional, with a particular focus on creating and maintaining Chrome Extensions. The successful candidate will also be skilled in converting UX designs into fully functional web interfaces and integrating data from backend services to deliver dynamic and interactive experiences to end users.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AT ACCLIVITY HEALTH:
Convert UX design mockups into fully functional, responsive web interfaces.
Integrate data from backend services and APIs into web interfaces to provide dynamic content and features.
Design and develop user interfaces for web applications with a focus on Chrome Extensions.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
Optimize web interfaces for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Implement best practices in front-end development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UI/UX in Chrome Extensions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and Chrome Extensions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in web UI development, with a strong portfolio of Chrome Extension projects.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (or Typescript), and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Experience in converting UX designs into fully functional web interfaces.
Strong experience in integrating data from backend services and APIs.
Experience with Chrome Extension APIs and development.
Experience building complex, highly interactive SPAs and reusable components/a component library.
Experience writing and maintaining frontend unit tests.
Familiarity with front-end performance monitoring and tuning.
Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with embedding BI dashboards.
Experience with design tolls (e.g., Figma, Sketch, etc.).
Experience with UI libraries including Tailwind, Bootstrap, materialUI, etc.
Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
Understanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
